My interest in photography started when I was a child living in the Scottish Highlands. Given my first camera as a birthday present I became obsessed with capturing the beauty of my surroundings, eventually studying photography in Edinburgh and majoring with honours in interiors and location.
I got married, had a daughter (Ellis) and moved to London. After a rather excellent time working on car magazines (my childhood dream!) I found my niche shooting locations, interiors, architecture and lifestyle. I shoot high quality digital and film images for magazines, newspapers, estate agents and corporate clients.
Clients include: Daily Mail, Evening Standard E.S. Magazine, Sunday Times, Foxtons, Knight Frank, So London, Homes and Interiors Scotland, Cala Homes and Red Cover photographic library.
My work has taken me to many challenging locations around the world including projects in New York, New Jersey, Norway, France, Germany, Ibiza and all over the U.K. I really love the challenge of creating the best images possible for my clients.
Friends were always asking me to shoot weddings, so I capitulated. Years on I now have a very strong weddings business capturing the intimacy, energy, excitement and fun of the occasion for a wide range of clients from Isle of Skye to Cornwall.
